A longtime South Jersey restaurant is closing its doors after 19 years in business.
T.W. Howells, located at 341 W. White Horse Pike in Pomona, announced it will permanently close at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, according to a notice posted by the restaurant.
“After 19 wonderful years in business, we are saddened to announce the closure of T. W. Howells on October 2, 2026, at 2:00PM.”

Alleged Drunk Driver Hits Veteran Cape Cod Officer, Leaving Him Facing Long, Painful Recovery
Community support is pouring in for Massachusetts police officer Peter Ginnetty as he begins a long recovery after being hit by an alleged drunk driver.
Ginnetty was struck by a truck late Sunday, Sept. 13, near the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis. Police identified the driver as Robert Brando-Hunt, 43, of Osterville, who now faces multiple charges including OUI, police said.

Cherilyn A. Molina, 49, died at her Hardyston Township home on Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to her obituary on the Ferguson Funeral Home website.
