A 23-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Morris County on Monday night, May 4, police said.
The Mount Olive Police Communications Center received multiple 911 calls reporting the crash in the Flanders section at approximately 9:26 p.m., police said in a release on Tuesday, May 5.
The operator, a 23-year-old man from Cresco, PA, was traveling north on Route 206 between Oakwood Village and Chestnut Way when the motorcycle left the roadway and entered a wooded area, police said. He died from injuries sustained in the crash.

A 41-year-old Atlantic City man pleaded guilty to attacking his girlfriend while she slept, authorities announced Wednesday, April 15.
Calvin Gunn pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on Monday, April 6, and is expected to be sentenced to five years in prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
